Course Description:

This course is designed to give you a complete understanding of how leaf tissue analysis can strengthen your crop nutrition program. Rather than viewing tissue testing as a once-a-season report, this course explains how it can become a proactive tool that can help with protecting yield potential and improving long-term fertility planning. Throughout the four sections, we will learn how tissue testing complements soil testing by revealing what the plant is actually absorbing and utilizing during the growing season. We will also learn about proper sampling timing and techniques, how to interpret lab results and how to use this data to identify hidden hunger and nutrient imbalances. In the end, we will explore how real-time diagnostic tools like NutriScan provide immediate, actionable results to allow proactive in-season nutrient management

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  1. Design and implement an effective tissue sampling strategy.
  2. Interpret tissue test reports with confidence, identify deficiencies, nutrient imbalances, mobility patterns, dilution effects, and hidden hunger before visible symptoms reduce yield.
  3. Combine tissue test, soil test and moisture data to guide in-season nutrient applications and strengthen future fertility programs.
